Do you remember being scared when you first learned to ride a bike? Drive a car? Went on a job interview? Of course! But you acted with heart anyway.
We all need a lot of “heart” to accomplish anything. “Heart” is our spiritual courage. In fact, the word “heart” comes from the French word, “coeur.” In this lesson, Rev. Nancy gives 3 steps to having more heart: First, remembering that you already have this spiritual strength. Second, remembering and writing down your “courage history” over the years; the times that you subdued fear and acted with heart. And third, being sure that you do the “lead ups” – the smaller acts of courage – before taking the big steps required.
