What does it mean to fully rely on God?
It means to fully and completely – and this is a learning process and practice – rely only on the Christ mind within us.
In Philippians 2:5 we read, “Let that mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.”
Ralph Waldo Emerson said the same thing in different words in his famous essay, Self-Reliance.
“The masses have no habit of original action. Yet, all the while we lie in the lap of immense intelligence, which makes us receivers of its truth and organs of its activity.”
