We all want to thrive; to lead lives of fulfillment and meaning. But to really thrive, we need to transform our negative mental states by replacing them with positive feeling states. In this lesson, Rev. Nancy describes these three feeling states and gives suggestions for achieving them in our daily lives.

As an added bonus she’s written a prayer that you can say to begin your daily meditation:

Dear God,
I trust You. I trust Your plan for my life. I welcome all the good that You have prepared for me. I relax in the knowledge that Your love and Your intelligence govern this Universe creating order with the planets, the stars, the sun, and all of nature. And just as Your order and love governs the perfect workings of nature, so too, does it plan and provide for me and my life.

I thank You. Thank You for the abundant blessings that fill my life. Thank You for my life – my body – my senses – my family and friends –for my job – for all the many things that I may take for granted. I also give thanks for all those who contribute to the well-being of my life for I know we are all interconnected. Most of all, I thank you that Your presence is the core and essence of my being.

I am inspired. Just as I now feel the trust and gratitude and love that fills my heart and mind, so, too, do I send these out to all others and to all forms of life with whom I share this planet. May all be blessed and uplifted. May all be released from fear and suffering. May all be happy and be filled with peace. Thank you, God~!
