One of my favorite poems is “The Lake of Beauty” by Edward Carpenter. In it he writes beautifully of Divine Order…
Let your mind be quiet, realizing the beauty of the world, and the immense, the boundless treasure that it holds in store.
All that you have within you, all that your heart desires, all that your Nature so specially fits you for – that or the counterpart of it waits embedded in the great Whole, for you.
It will surely come to you.— Edward Carpenter
The poem goes on to say that our good comes to us only at its appointed time. In other words, according to the great Loving Divine Order of God. Our creator set in motion in the beginning, a great order that provides for every possibility and for every form of life, including yours. That which you desire is the evidence of that, otherwise you would not desire it.
But all things must unfold in order if they are to unfold with ease and grace. Give thanks that there is an order that does not depend on the vagaries of human consciousness, but instead is the orderly progression in Love and Wisdom of your Higher Consciousness. Our ability to align ourselves with this Higher Order creates it in our lives.
Your good is coming to you in Divine Timing because your good – as a desire in your heart – is already within you.
Our affirmation for today is:
My life is in Divine Order.
