day9

Research suggests that what we think of as free will is largely an illusion: much of the time, we are simply operating on automatic pilot, and the way we think and act – and how well we think and act on the spur of the moment – are a lot more susceptible to outside influences than we realize.— Malcolm Gladwell, Blink: The Power of Thinking Without Thinking

Your Divine Power of Will is your power to choose. Making good choices is essential to living a harmonious, abundant life. And all of us have made choices that, at the time, seemed good. This is how we grow; we choose, moment to moment. In doing this we learn the difference between making conscious choices and unconscious ones that are not in our best interest.

As we understand that Divine Intelligence (God) is within us, we are more able to make choices that are wise and which will work for good in our life. We also come to understand that God’s Will is perfect love and includes the fruits of that love for each of us. We, then, learn to say, as Jesus said, “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done,” with joy and confidence. For we know that as we align ourselves with the highest and best; the Divine Will in us, we will be incredibly blessed!

Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.— Matthew 6: 10

Our affirmation for today is:

I will with God.

With My Love and Blessings,
