Ralph Waldo Emerson wrote, “Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.” Yes, enthusiasm is the essential ingredient in anything we undertake. It is our passion and our spirit poured into it. In fact, the word “enthusiasm” comes from the Greek words, “en theos” which mean “inspired by God.”
Charles Kingsley said, “All we really need to make us happy is something to be enthusiastic about.” It’s also true that all of us are truly happy when we are passionate about something. To find out what we are enthusiastic about may be the most important quest of our lives.
Today as we focus on our Divine Power of Enthusiasm, let us open ourselves to the Spirit within us and affirm together that It is now guiding you into the very things for which your gifts are most suited. You are God’s instrument, inspired by God. God has already provided for your fulfillment and happiness, gifting you in ways that will bring about your success as you enthusiastically use them with your whole self – body, mind, and Spirit.
Our affirmation for today is:
I am inspired by God.
With My Love and Blessings,
