New Adult Class: The Law of Attraction  

There are two times to choose from:
Wednesday evenings, February 10 through March 10, 7-8:30pm
Thursday mornings, February 11 through March 11, 10-11:30am
The class will focus on some of the content presented in The Vortex, by Esther and Jerry Hicks. Tuition for the class is $50 ($10 per class.) Scholarships are available. Books are available in our bookstore. Everyone is welcome!

Your Secret Valentine and Valentine's Day Reception

You are invited to join us in being someone’s Secret Valentine and having one of your own!

On February 7th during the service, slips of paper will be handed out to those congregants wishing to participate in our "Secret Valentine" at the reception on Valentine’s Day, Sunday, February 14th. Each person will put their name on the slips of paper and after the service, place it in a basket at the back of the sanctuary. They each will take a different slip out, making sure they don't get their own name back. During the week, the participants will make or buy a valentine for their "Secret Valentine," putting that person’s name on the front, and signing their name on it. A container will be placed in Friendship Café for distribution of the Valentines by the team. Annual Meeting

Please join us after the Sunday service for our once-a-year meeting. We will hear reports from the board and from Rev. Nancy. The meeting is planned to last one hour. Your presence is a blessing!

Dr. Dean Van Leuven, award-winning author on Emotional Literacy: “Learning to Stay Connected”

“People who live happy, loving and peaceful lives aren't just lucky. They have learned and implemented as a way of life what Dr. Dean Van Leuven - The Dean of Peace - has been teaching for years. As a psychologist and later in life as an attorney, it became obvious to him that emotional responses based on anger were not effective in solving problems. After years of research, study, and teaching classes he authored the prestigious Visionary Award winning book, Life Without Anger in 2004. Dr. Dean presents a program that teaches you how to break the cycles of stress so that you can experience the true joy of living.” There will be a potluck lunch following the service. Workshop on breaking the cycle of stress and living a happy, peaceful life from 12:30- 2:30pm. Love offering~

You and your dear ones are invited to join us for an inspiring Easter celebration. Special music by vocalist Cheri Stark and Doug Parham and the band. After the service, the Youth Education Ministry will host their Annual Easter Egg Hunt for all children.
